Support Group Meetings

Monthly meetings typically include an educational component and time for care providers and people with Parkinson’s to meet separately.  The groups are highly interactive and organize both social and educational events throughout the year.

Support Group meetings provide a forum for sharing strategies to cope with Parkinson’s, support research and clinical trials, and promote friendships to help one another on their Parkinson’s journey.

Support Groups meet in Rancho Bernardo on the first Monday of every month, in Encinitas on the first Wednesday of every month, in Oceanside on the second Wednesday of every month, and in Fallbrook on the fourth Friday of every month.

We live in an area rich in research and treatment innovation.  Speakers have included neurologists, physical therapists, research scientists, nutritionists, Medicare experts, neurosurgeons, paramedics, psychologists, emergency physicians, Parkinson’s humorists (yes!), pharmacology researchers, vocal therapists and singers -  to name just a few.
